About Me: Born in Meriden, CT, August 30, 1994, my mother said I was speaking fluently before I took my first step. By the time I was a toddler rapping was my favorite pastime. My memory is vague of those years, but I do recall imitating one of my favorite rappers, DMX. Adrenaline pumped and emotionally charged by the beat, I could lose myself for hours.
Soon my mother and I relocated to the South and eventually made Atlanta our home. By this time I had progressed from freestyling to writing down my lyrics. I continued to freestyle out of the joy of the art. In my preteen years I was freestyling with friends and school mates in between classes, in the school bathroom, and in the cafeteria. My talent began to get noticed by others. I joined a small promotion group, Heartless ENT, for an up and coming rapper and through Heartless I began to get known locally. I became so well known that people began to approach and question, “How can I be down?” “Can I promote for you?” I decide to create my own promotion team, Team Black Heart.
The more engrossed I became in my dream, the more my circle of friends and associates changed. I realized I was surrounded by like people. I was soon making songs in amateur music studios. The first song recorded was “Stunna Shades”. The popularity of the song enabled me to get some performances at clubs such as Lone Star, Off Tha Bonz, Scores, and Club Vault. I also did performances for private parties.
Present
Through my diligence and persistence, I was able to persuade a professional music studio, Power Source Entertainment, to allow me the opportunity to promote for them in exchange for studio time. I am currently working on my first album, “The Biz Investment” which is being produced by the Ill Genius, and just recently my first professionally recorded single, “Chek My Fresh”, was released and is available online for purchase.
I have the ability to draw in crowds and self promote. Online social sites such as Facebook, Myspace, and Tinychat provide proof of my skills as a leader and entrepreneurship. My fan base, friends, followers on Twitter, and the high volume of views on my Tinychat show speak for itself. I have the ability to command a crowd.
Future
My goals in the upcoming years are to enroll in Georgia State University’s Audio Engineering program. I want to be well rounded in my career choice of pursuing a career in the music industry. I will continue to aggressively pursue my rap career as it is my first passion. I plan to expand my fan base locally by performing regularly at clubs, private parties, and Atlanta festivals. I will be completing my first album in the coming year and hopefully starting my second. The dreams I have are huge. My faith in myself and my ability to succeed are extraordinary. I know that I will far surpass my wildest dreams
