J Midd @ Wild Bills in Duluth, Ga./nJon JMIDD Middleton comes from a rich long line of musically talented people in his family.
JMIDD was introduced to the music world when he was very young while traveling with his father on the tour bus for nation wide shows. JMIDD’s father was part of a contemporary Christian group called Newsong while he was growing up. For over a fourteen years JMIDD used to travel with his father and would watch them pack out arenas all over the U.S. Although JMIDD’s father parted from the group sometime ago to pursue a solo career, the entire group has recently been inducted into the Contemporary Christian Music Hall of Fame. Newsong embedded the inspiration that thrives behind the music JMIDD writes by instilling positive influences within every hook and verse. Even though he grew up performing with his guitar in churches and following in his father’s footsteps, it was the passion to rap and sing in high school that propelled his musical career. JMIDD’s first public performance to his local following was less than a year ago where he packed out a local bar and won the attention of many more. Since then JMIDD has rocked stages from small local bars/clubs to prominent huge clubs all over the Southeast opening for big named celebrities in front of thousands of people. JMIDD’s main goals in life is to perform and write music which is fueled by the passion he has to keep things clean and positive, to show others that good music can rock out a club without sex, drugs or alcohol being involved. He wants to be known for as an artist that never uses explicit lyrics or derogative connotations against others, the guy that’s not in it solely for the fame or money, and give credit to where it’s due to the one that created him. JMIDD is looking to take his passion to the next level in efforts to prove the mission he has set out to accomplish, and the time is right to make a difference.
