Description:
BAMA (birth name, Antonio Henry) was born to Veronica Henry in a small town in Mississippi called "Poplarville". He lived there until the age of four, at which point in time he moved to Atlanta. From that point, BAMA was in foster homes along with his two brothers & two sisters, whom the government separated him from because his mother had to spend time in jail. BAMA attended several schools after the foster care situation came into play, wherever the judge ordered him to; he had no choice but to go. POPLARVILLE, DOUGLASVILLE, BANKHEAD, ATLANTA, STONE MOUNTAIN, MONTGOMERY and FOREST PARK were some of the cities BAMA went to school in.
At 15 years old, BAMA was then at the age where he could decide whether he was going to declare independence or go back and live with his original mother. He decided to go back and live with his mother in Forest Park, where he attended his last few years of high school. His life-long friends were found on the SOUTHSIDE, where he has resided for the past eight years (FOREST PARK, RIVERDALE, COLLEGE PARK). Spending every summer with his Aunt Dottie & Uncle Cleve off Conley Road since elementary school, he reps the SOUTHSIDE TO THE FULLEST TIL THE DAY THAT HE DIES!
Being in & out of juvenile in his youth and in and out of jail as an adult, BAMA still has managed to succeed in his dream as an artist, songwriter & CEO of a label. There is still a long way to go for this young, aspiring artist, but he will definitely be "THE NEW FACE OF HIP-HOP!"
