It’s Scotty, part of the “new school” of artists to take the music industry by storm. Raised by a single mother in Atlanta, Georgia, life wasn’t always easy for the budding superstar; however, the sounds of OutKast, 8-Ball & MJG, UGK, and many other artists helped Scotty channel his energy into music. He immediately turned that instant love of hip-hop into an inspiring career of his own. He began learning and studying the ins and outs of the music industry through producing, songwriting, and performing.
Scotty started his own label, Presidential Music, in 2010. Those who hear Scotty flock to his unique style of music, which fuses summertime fun and utter realism throughout his songs. Ourstage.com recognized him as the Rap Artist of the Month for 2 consecutive months, he also reached 9th in Best of Urban chart in 2011, and has remained in the top 20 for 7 weeks out of thousands of artists across the world.
Scotty made a lasting impression on fans at the BET Atlanta Step Show, BET Car & Bike Show in Chapel Hill, NC and the Source Magazine Car & Bike Show. He has performed with Waka Flocka, Roscoe Dash, Dondria,Outkast, Pastor Troy, Gorilla Zoe, Jody Breeze, Boyz in da Hood, Lyfe Jennings and Omarion just to name a few.
He is entertaining, yet humble; a hustler who’s all about business; “kooler than a polar bear’s toenails”, fun, yet re-fined.
