Boog Brown is a Detroit native , who eventually decided to move to Atlanta for change. Boog is not just an emcee, but a poet and publisher as well. She released a mixtape, entitled “The Grind Season” in Early 2010 with tracks like The Essence, Dope Girl Magic and The Mirror, she collaborated with Hip-Hop artists and producers including Illastrate, Rita J, Aarophat, Apollo Brown, Invincible, Stahhr, Methuzulah, and 14KT, who describes her voice as “the illest.”/nRecently, Brown’s classic track “The Essence” appeared on BET’s documentary “My Mic Sounds Nice”. Ms. Brown describes her debut album “Brown Study” (Mello Music Group), a collaborative project with Hip-Hop producer Apollo Brown, as the “most vulnerable” she has been musically.
