Shawn Williams A.K.A. "Kenichi" was born in Detroit, MI, USA, on 9 Jan 1978 to two gospel singers. His mother Rosemary was also a nurse at the time and his father Dan Davis was not a part of his life. He has three younger sisters from his mother, Tiffany, Mayettea, and Cekiethia Williams and 26 brothers and sisters from his father. In January 1991, Kenichi's family relocated to Atlanta, Georgia. Those who know him know he is dedicated to his music, and his family and has everything it takes to be the world's next best rap artist. He is not just a rapper, he is a writer and a musician. His singles "Check me out", "Dieing to be like me" and "If I Exist" are instant hits. Now working with other independent artists his time has come. In his own words Kenichi says, "Get at me! Check me out!
